Originally approved by the FDA as an anticonvulsant, pregabalin works by slowing down impulses in the brain that can trigger seizures.
This drug test detects pregabalin at a cut‑off level of 500 ng/mL and above. Non‑negative results must be confirmed in a laboratory using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS).
