Calibration
Calibration is essential for all alcohol breathalysers. Just like a clock needs readjusting after a long period of use, a breathalyser must also be recalibrated to maintain accuracy.
After many tests (often hundreds), the alcohol sensor will eventually require adjustment or replacement to ensure it continues to operate within correct specifications.
Breathalysers are highly sensitive instruments. As the sensor is repeatedly exposed to alcohol — especially high concentrations — its accuracy can drift over time. This is why choosing a device with proper calibration capabilities is crucial.
